Tigers sweep Florence

Rockdale Tiger Youth Football & Cheer had a good day Saturday with three teams competing against the youth football league from Florence. The Rockdale Pee Wee Flag team defeated the Buffaloes, 14-12, for their first win of the season.

2025 Rockdale Alumni Tennis

The 2025 Rockdale Alumni Tennis Meet was held on Saturday morning at the city park. There have been 34 state qualifiers in the history of the tennis program at Rockdale High School, with four state champions.

Second-half woes give Rockdale first loss of season The Rockdale Tigers suffered their first loss of the season on Friday night at Tiger Stadium to the No. 4 ranked Lexington Eagles, 33-7.

THURSDAY’S TIGERS

The Rockdale Tiger JV team played Lexington on Thursday night. The Tigers were defeated by Lexington Eagles JV, 20-14. Offensive standouts for the Tigers were WR King Knox, OL Destin Richardson. Defensive standouts were DL Paxton Stewart, LB Gage Skrhak, DB Cooper Bell.

ROCKDALE LADY TIGERS VOLLEYBALL

The Rockdale Lady Tiger varsity volleyball team met with Academy and Lexington over the past week, while the JV and freshman teams played in the Holland Tournament and had a good showing. All three teams fell to Lexington on Tuesday.
