Lexington player airlifted Friday night in Caldwell; now reported to be conversing, ‘moving all his extremities’

CALDWELL—Lexington Eagle sophomore running back Jurian “Juju” Moore was airlifted from Hornet Field in Caldwell after taking a hit to the head during Friday’s game against Caldwell Hornets.
Witnesses report that Moore took a knee to the back of his head while he was being tackled.

The JV team hosted the Granger Lions at Tiger Stadium on Thursday, with the junior high teams traveling to La Grange to take on the Leopards.

Tiger offense explodes for third win

GROESBECK—The Rockdale Tigers got back in the win column on Friday with a big victory over the Groesbeck Goats, 54-35, at Groesbeck Stadium.
The Goats struck first with a 28-yard touchdown pass to make it 7-0.
The Tigers responded quickly when they drove the distance of the field.
