The Rockdale Tigers have to feel good going into this week's game against our arch rival, the Cameron Yoemen. With an exciting win against McGregor, this kind of momentum is what you want to have going into a rival game.

Senior Night 2025 ended for the Rockdale Lady Tigers with a three-game win against the Rogers Lady Eagles to keep their playoff hopes alive. High school The Rockdale Lady Tigers volleyball team had its Senior Night on Friday when they hosted the Rogers Lady Eagles. The Lady Tigers came away with a victory to keep their playoff hopes alive. Rockdale is currently one game behind the Thrall Lady Tigers.

Granger GOOD. Water stained; 82 degrees; 0.44 feet above pool. Fishing remains consistent this week. Black bass are good on plastic worms fished in shallow cover all over the lake. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows fished over cover in 4-15 feet of water.

Rockdale, 1-1 in district, set to face Yoe, 0-2, in Battle of the Bell The Rockdale Tigers (4-3, 1-1) were able to get their first district win of the season in exciting fashion, 36-35, against the McGregor Bulldogs (1-6, 1-1) Friday night in Tiger Stadium.

Thorndale 28, San Saba 24 SAN SABA—The Thorndale Bulldogs (4-3, 1-1) pulled out a close district win Friday, 28-24, against the San Saba Armadillos (4-3, 1-1) at Rogan Field in San Saba.

The Rockdale Tigers JV football team traveled to McGregor to take on the Bulldogs last week. The Tigers fell to the Bulldogs by the score of 28-6. King Knox scored on a 2-yard run in the fourth quarter for the Tigers lone score.

Rockdale loses eighth district game in a row, dating back to 2023 ACADEMY—The Rockdale Tigers (3-3, 1-0) district football season got under way on Friday at John Glover Stadium in Academy with Rockdale coming up on the losing end, 55-21. The Tigers had their hands full with Bumblebees.
