Toy run Saturday at Ranch

The 14th annual Buddy Oney Toy Run will be held Saturday, beginning and ending at The Ranch. Registration begins at 9 a.m. on that morning with the first bike out at 11. Sponsor is Bad to the Bone Riders. Registration is $20 per rider, $25 with passenger, or a new toy valued at $25.

Christmas lighting contest judging set for December 15

It’s that time of year again. Judging in Rockdale’s annual Christmas Lighting Contest is set for Sunday night, Dec. 15. Denise Brock, Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center staffer, said all those who want to be judged should have their lights on by 6 p.m. on that date.
