Delivery dates are coming up for two Milam County “Christmas Cheer” drives. Both Thorndale Cares and the Milam County Sheriff’s Department’s Brown Santa will make deliveries on Thursday, Dec. 20.

Second accident with pedestrian, vehicle Monday

POLICE REPORT For the second time in two and one-half weeks there has been a serious vehicle-pedestrian accident in front of the Budget Inn West Cameron Avenue (US 79). Police said Daryl Paul Reed, 63, of Rockdale was struck at 6:20 p.m.
