Guilty plea for former captain in Milam sheriff’s department

CAMERON—A former Milam County Jail Captain has pleaded guilty to a series of thefts from the sheriff’s department over a three-year period and will be sentenced this summer.

SW Milam, Thorndale get grants

POLICE REPORT A woman came to the Rockdale Police Department to make an ‘outcry’ to authorities about an incident several years ago and a former Rockdale resident has been arrested and charged with sexual assault of a child.
