Santa to arrive early in Milano

Santa Claus is coming to Milano early this year. Santa will arrive at Liberty Church on Saturday, Nov. 30. Santa will be available from 3 to 6 p.m. Bring your children and friends and have your pictures taken with Santa.

FIGHTING BREAST CANCER

—Guardians Motorcycle Club recently presented a check for almost $5,000 to Scott & White, representing funds raised in the last two Fight Breast Cancer Runs originating at Cliff’s Tavern. The money goes to fund free mammograms and ultrasounds at Scott & White’s Taylor Clinic.

Plans for Rockdale Christmas Roundup are now underway, according to Allen Sanders, spokesman for the annual Christmas Cheer drive.

Grist is an online magazine that advocates for environmental issues.

What a boo-tiful party

Over 250 people attended the annual MARC (Milam Adult Resource Center) Halloween Party at the Patterson Civic Center Thursday and enjoyed a spaghetti dinner with all the trimmings. The Reporter spoke to Ann King, president of the MARC Center Board about the history of the party.
