Lady Tiger powerlifter Mackenzie Musto secured her third straight trip to the Region II powerlifting meet at the Elgin Wildcat Invitational on Saturday, Musto surpassed a total lifted weight of 720 pounds, which automatically qualifies any women powerlifters in the 132-pound weight class.

Rockdale’s Lady Tiger basketball team got their third district win on Tuesday after taking down visiting Cameron 48-28 thanks to a strong second half. “I just felt like we played well,” said RHS coach Meredith Caffey. “W e always play up for Cameron and I ’m really proud of them.
