After experiencing a string of double-digit losses, the Lady Tigers fought hard at the Cameron Tournament this past weekend, Although they had they lost three games, they were all close matches with a 1-0 loss to Academy, 2-0 to Florence and 2-0 to Madisonville.

Rockdale started off hot against a strong, athletic Troy team taking a 21-9 lead at the close of the first quarter. However, the Trojans took away their steam, outscoring RHS 24-9 in the second half, taking a 33-30 lead at halftime.

Youth softball holds early registration Rockdale Girls Softball League is holding an earlybird registration on Saturday at the RGSL Softball Complext from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. Registration for early signees will be $60. Regular registration will be from Jan. 25 through Feb. 1, and cost $70.
