Milano and Thorndale High S chool basketball teams met for the first time this season on Friday evening at the Geneva Paceley Gymnasium in Milano. To kick off the night, the Lady Bulldogs got their sixth district win, defeating the Lady Eagles 62-4 .

In the fourth quarter, the Lady Tigers cut what was once a 20-point lead down to as low as six points, before losing 59-48 in Troy Friday night. “We played really well in the fourth,” RHS head coach Meredith Caffey said after the game. “We just couldn’t play like that in all of the quarters.
