THORNDALE HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL/SOFTBALL

The Thorndale Bulldogs went 3-0 last week. BARTLETT— They started their week with a 7-1 win against Bartlett. Jackson Eschberger was the winning pitcher. Eschberger went six innings, gave up four hits and had 16 Ks.

DISTRICT TRACK MEET— Above are the Rockdale High School track team members— boys (L) and girls (R)— that competed in last week’s district meet in Cameron. AREA QUALIFIERS—( At right, L-R) Tiger Jesus Bocanegra qualified for the area meet in the 1600M and 3200M runs.

ROCKDALE BASEBALL/SOFTBALL

The Tigers took both of their games against Lorena last week. On Tuesday they beat the Leopards on the road 4-3 before coming home to face them on Friday and winning 6-0. The Tigers are now 7-1 and an impressive, well coached team.

ROCKDALE SOCCER

The Rockdale Tiger soccer team made an impression this year in 4A Region III District 24. They made it to the post-season, finished with a 18-7-2 record and placed third in their district.

THORNDALE HIGH SCHOOL TRACK

The Thorndale track team competed in their district meet last week in Holland. The following Lady Dogs are advancing to the area meet: • The 4x100 team of Emily Northcott, Bethany Preusse, Kassidy Eubanks and Hadley Meadors. • Raven Sandoval and Skilee Bear in the 800M.

MILANO HIGH SCHOOL TRACK

The Milano Eagle tracksters competed at the their district meet last week and the following athletes advance to participate in the area meet in Thrall on April 14: • Melanee Moccia in the 100M and 300M hurdles. • Kadance Koenig in the 1600M and 800M. • Rayelee Keen in the shot put and discus.

ROCKDALE HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS

NAVASOTA TOURNAMENT— The Rockdale Tigers’ tennis team traveled to play in the Navasota Tournament last week. At left, Mason Lillard and Brody Willard placed second in boys’ doubles, while (at right) Greyson Williams and Mason Willard were consolation champions in boys’ doubles.

THORNDALE TRACK

Thorndale took three athletes to compete in last week's 96th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays in Austin. Lady Dog Bethany Preusse competed in the discus and the javelin. Preusse set a new personal best in the javelin and finished fifth.

ROCKDALE TENNIS

The Rockdale Tiger tennis team played in the Thrall last week with great results. The doubles team of Mason Willard and Brody Willard came in first place in boys’ doubles, while Cohen Razo and Sebastian Lepe placed second in boys’ doubles.
