POSGCD to hold EarthKind gardening classes March 22

Post Oak Savannah Groundwater Conservation District will hold an Earth-Kind workshop aimed at promoting sustainable gardening practices to local residents on Friday, March 22 at the POSGCD office in Milano from 1 to 3 p.m.

Luckey appointed to MDD board; more news from city council Monday

At Monday night's city council meeting Rebecca Luckey was appointed to the board of the Rockdale MDD, t a king the spot occupied by RISD Superintendent Dr. Denise Monzingo.

Two felony arrests made by Rockdale PD, one accident reported

Rockdale Police Officers made two felony arrests during the past seven days including: • Christina Bingham, 50, New Mexico, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance (4 to 200 grams), possession of a controlled substance (4 to 400 grams). She is in custody in the Milam County Jail.
