Summer hours for MHS weight room announced
The high school weight room is open for girls at 11 a.m on Tuesdays and Thursdays in June. The weight room is open for boys 8:30 to 10 a.m. Mondays- Thursdays.
Milam County a member of 100 Club in ceremony Thursday
The 100 Club of Central Texas officially announced the inclusion of Milam County’s First Responders into its coverage area on Thursday. Following Deputy Ferguson’s critical incident last year, Sheriff Mike Clore and First Assistant District Attorney Brian Price worked with the 100 Club of Central Texas to have Milam County first responders become eligible for immediate financial and emotional assistance to first responders and their families when there has been a line of duty death or critical injury.
Juneteenth parade, BBQ on Saturday
Rockdale’s Juneteenth Homecoming celebration will be held on Saturday, June 17, and the whole city is invited, according to organizer Henry Miller.
