Memorial services for Don Ahrendt, 85, of Giddings, Texas, will be held at St. James’ Episcopal Church in La Grange on Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019, at 11 a.m. A memorial service was also held on Monday, Nov. 18, 2019 at Marek Burns Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron.

Beitel

Madeline Beitel, 90, joined her Lord and Savior, peacefully passing away of natural causes in Cameron, Texas, having most recently resided in Milano, Texas. She lived a life that professed her faith and was a true encourager.

Blackmon

Glenn Blackmon passed away on Nov. 13, 2019. He was predeceased by parents LuElla and Heavy Blackmon and sister Dolores Gest.

George Cuba, 78, died at his Thorndale residence on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Nov. 19, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home. Burial was at Detmold Cemetery. Mr. Cuba lived in Thorn-dale for most of his life. He was born Nov. 9, 1941, in Anton to O.R.

Cheryl Ann Treadwell, 55, of Rockdale, died Monday, Nov. 11, 2019. Funeral service were held Friday, Nov. 15, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with burial following at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale. Mrs. Treadwell was born to Nancy Vogt and the late Dale R. Vogt at Fort Hood.

Locklin

Billy Ray Locklin, 83, of Rockdale passed away the afternoon of Friday, Nov. 8, 2019, while in the Seton Medical Center in Round Rock. Services are scheduled for 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at Springfield Missionary Baptist Church in Rockdale, with Dr. Dennis L. Brooks Sr. officiating.

Andress

Debbie Kaufmann Andress, 52, of Humble died Friday, Nov. 1, 2019, while in hospice at her brother’s home in Rockdale. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Ms. Andress was born Aug. 27, 1967, in Pasadena to Ray David and Virginia Mae (Fenwick) Kaufmann.

Clifford G. Caffey, 88, of Rockdale died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2019, at St. Joseph Hospital in Bryan. Memorial services are set for 10:30 a.m. with the visitation at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale. Mr. Caffey was born Oct.
