Anna Jean Haupt (Caudle), 88, formerly of Rockdale, died Thursday, Aug. 15, 2019, at Titus Regional Medical Center in Mount Pleasant, surrounded by her family. A memorial service will be held at Rockdale Christian Church at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 24. Interment will be at IOOF Cemetery in Rockdale.

Mrs. Vargas died Sunday, Aug. 11, at her home near Rockdale. She was born Dec. 11, 1944, in Pearsall to Ricardo and Patricia (Hernandez) Vargas. She married Nestor S. Vargas on April 15, 1960, in Crystal City. They moved to Rockdale and she had been a Rockdale resident for the past 30 years. Mrs.
