Mary Cruz Garza Servantez, 92, of Maryville, Tennessee, formerly of Rockdale, died Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019, in Maryville, Tennessee.

Buchanan

Chester Lee Buchanan, 64 of Hearne died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2019. He was born on May 5, 1955, in Cameron to William Mike Buchanan and Irene Casey Buchanan. He went to school in Cameron, graduating from C.H. Yoe High School in 1973.

Rubio

Benjamin Rubio, 41, of Plano, formerly of Rockdale, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019, at Medical City Plano Hospital. Memorial services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Victoria Rubio officiating.

York

Jon York, 51, of Robinson, formerly of Rockdale, died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2019, at his home in Robinson. Memorial services were held Tuesday, Oct. 22, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Pastor Steve Abbey of Cross Roads Fellowship Church officiating.

Beyer

Mary L. Beyer, 76, a longtime Rockdale resident, died Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2019, at Winnie L. Nursing Center in Cameron, after a sudden illness. Services were held Saturday, Oct. 5, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rock-dale with Rev. John Seaton of St. John’s United Methodist Church officiating.

Hubert

Charles “Cotton” Hubert, 85, died Tuesday, Aug. 20, 2019. He was born Jan. 15, 1934, to Jessie Lewis Hubert and Ralph Hubert in the Minerva community of Milam County. Mr. Hubert grew up in the Depression era, learning at an early age work ethic and fiscal prudence.

Moultrie

Almond “Billy” Lee Moultrie Jr., 71 of Austin, formerly of Rockdale, died Monday, Oct. 7, 2019, at his daughter’s home in Pflugerville.

Wyatt

Alvin Wyatt, 94 of Milano died Sunday, Oct. 13, 2019, at Legacy Nursing Home in Cameron. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 18, at Gause Full Gospel Church in Gause with Pastors Jerry and Linda Burns officiating. Burial will be at Pin Oak Cemetery near Gause.

Bozeman

Ann Bozeman, 75, of Rockdale died Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2019, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple. A memorial graveside service will be held at a later date at Parker Cemetery in Grapeland. Mrs. Bozeman was born Feb. 19, 1944, in Italy, Texas, to Grady Lee and Venis Louise (Dawson) Davis.

Bow

Kay Ellen Bow died peacefully on Thursday, Sept. 26, 2019, after a brief battle with cancer. Visitation is set for 2 to 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, at the Patterson Civic Center, 609 Mill Ave., Rockdale, followed by a brief celebration of life service.
