BELTON—Linda Kay Meyer, 74, of Cameron passed away Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2022, in her sleep while on hospice care at the Winnie L nursing facility. Memorial services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, March 3, at Crotty Funeral Home in Belton.

WEATHERFORD—Mr. Louis O’Neal Miller, 82, of Rockdale died Monday, Feb. 14, 2022, in Weatherford. His body was cremated and a memorial services will be held at a later date. During the summer, a gathering of family will spread his ashes at the Texas coast. Mr.

Harold Lee Parsley Jr., 84, a Rockdale entrepreneur, passed away Tuesday afternoon, Feb. 22, 2022, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple. Services for Harold were held at 10 a.m. Mon 10 a.m. Monday, Feb.

Strong

Eva Faye Strong, 87, of Rockdale died peacefully in her sleep Feb. 13, 2022. She was battling many health issues and most recently began treatment for throat cancer. Private burial will take place, next to her husband, at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio.

MOUNT PLEASANT— Margie Lee Thomas, 88, of Mount Pleasant passed away on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2022. Visitation will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 5, with service following at 3 p.m. at Bates-Cooper-Sloan Funeral Home of Mount Pleasant.

McWhorter

James Lee McWhorter, 85, of Rockdale went to his eternal home on Feb. 12, 2022. He was preceded in death by his parents, R.D. and Ruby McWhorter; brother Robert McWhorter; a sister, Sue Wade; and a half-brother, Vance Jones.

Myers

A funeral service for Jerry Glen Myers Sr. of Milano will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, 2022, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale. Burial will be at Goodwill Cemetery in Milano. Mr. Myers was born to Bobby Ray Myers Sr. and Eddie Mae Maloy Myers in Rockdale on Oct. 21, 1962.

Ronald Craig “RC” Wiley of Rockdale passed away Saturday, Feb. 19, 2022, at the age of 74 years. He was born in Houston, to Nolan Wiley and Gladys LaNell Brock Wiley on Dec. 10, 1947.

Baird

Lt. Col. Kirk Wayne Baird, 62, of San Gabriel passed into the gates of Heaven on Feb. 7, 2022. Kirk was born on Sept. 16, 1959, to Carolyn Faye Baird and Gene Kirk Baird in Taylor. He attended Thorndale ISD, followed by the New Mexico Military Institute.
