GAUSE—Donald (Donnie) Gene McBee, 86, of Gause passed away on Jan. 26, 2022, in Cypress. A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 19, at Gause Baptist Church in Gause. Donnie was born in Houston to Ruby and Ocie McBee on Jan. 17, 1936.

Mattie Pearl McBride, 91, of Rockdale died Tuesday, Jan. 25, 2022. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 5, at New Hope Baptist Church in Rockdale with Pastor Kenneth Morris officiating. Burial will be at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale. Visitation is set for 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Feb.

A celebration of life service for Marjorie Ann Johle Little, 84, was held at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 31, 2022, at Full Gospel Church in Rockdale with Pastor Casey Goetz of Tanglewood Baptist Church officiating. A p r i v a t e family burial will be held at a later date. She passed away Tuesday, Jan.

Niemtschk

THORNDALE—Eugene Otto Niemtschk was born to Otto and Meta (Rueffer) Niemtschk on March 30, 1928, in Thorndale. The sixth of eight children born in the house where he lived in, then for 33 years with his spouse Erma. Eugene was given the Rite of Holy Baptism on May 6, 1928, on his mother’s birthday.

Steve Sowders, 57, of Caldwell died Friday, Jan. 28, 2022, at Burleson St. Joseph Manor in Caldwell. A funera l s e r v i c e was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in R o c k d a l e with Chaplin Heidi Dixon officiating. Burial was at Milano Cemetery in Milano.

LA GRANGE—A celebration of life service for Rebecca Lynn (Brown) Woods, 59, of West Point, Texas, was held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 28, 2022, at Crosspoint Community Church in La Grange. She passed away Friday, Jan. 21.

Boswell

Clifford Thomas Boswell, age 86 of Rockdale passed away Wednesday night, Jan. 19, 2022, at St. Luke’s Baptist Hospital in San Antonio. Tom was born Oct. 9, 1935, in the Pleasant Hill community of Milam County to B.R. and Grace (Simmons) Boswell. He was a 1953 graduate of Rockdale High School.
