Steven Preston Stolte, 59, a lifelong resident of Thorndale, died at his home in Thorndale surrounded by family on Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021. Services were held on Wednesday, Dec. 29, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale with Pastor Casey Goetz of Tanglewood Baptist Church officiating.

Chad Aubrey Cryer passed away on Dec. 14, 2021, at 41 years of age, while hospitalized in Houston. Chad was b o r n O c t . 24, 1980, in Houston to Doyle Wayne Cryer, Jr. and Donna Crowell Cryer. Chad married his high school sweetheart, Nikki Morehead, on March 10, 2001, in Rockdale.

Lillian Irene Cast, age 94, of Thorndale passed away early Thursday morning, Dec. 2, 2021, in Baylor Scott & White Hospital. Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 7, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Thorndale with Pastor Craig Schinnerer and Pastor Wilburn Michalk officiating.

Alvin “JR” Coldiron, 93, of Milano died Saturday Nov. 27, 2021, at his home in the Sand Grove community. A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday Dec. 4 at Sand Grove Church of Christ Cemetery. Mr. Coldiron was born Aug. 5, 1928, in the Sand Grove community.

HEARNE—Services for Carl Wayne Douglas, 80, were held Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021, at All Families Mortuary Chapel in Hearne with Rev. Rodrick Jackson officiating. Burial was at Bryan City Cemetery in Bryan. Mr. Douglas died Tuesday, Nov. 7. He was born Oct. 7, 1941, in Milam County to Ennis Sr.

Mamie Louise “Weezie” Jonas, 59, of Taylor died Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021, at her home in Taylor. Graveside services were held Wednesday, Nov. 24, at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Rockdale. Ms. Jonas was born Aug. 17, 1962, in Grand Prairie to Mamie Louise (Andrews) and Truman Alexander White Sr.
