Eric Chambers, 54, of Milano died Monday, Jan. 10, 2022, at his home near Milano. Carrying out his wishes, Eric will be cremated and no memorial services are planned. Mr. Chambers was born Dec. 17, 1967, to Larry D. and Edna Elizabeth “Betty” (Anderson) Chambers in Wichita, Kansas.

Bernice “Boots” Belle Lancaster Dickey, 97, of Elgin died Jan. 14, 2022. B e r n i c e was born on April 10, 1924, in Beaukiss to Cliff Lancaster and Jennie Lynn King L a n c a s t e r . She was given the nickname “Boots” by her father based off a character in the funny papers.

Allie A. “Siscero” Key, 85, of Rockdale died Friday, Jan. 14, 2022, at Winnie L Nursing Home in Cameron. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 20, at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Rockdale with Pastor Mark Nygard officiating. Mrs. Key was born Sept. 11, 1936, to James H.

Little

Walter Lee Little (aka Tucker), 77, of Rockdale, succumbed to cancer on Jan. 8, 2022, at Ascension Seton Hospital in Round Rock. Walter was born on Oct. 3, 1944, in Hearne to Rosita (Hamilton) Little and Roy Edward Little. He was the oldest of five siblings.

Mitchell

It is with great sadness that the family of Kimberly Michelle Mitchell announce her passing on Jan. 12, 2022. Kimberly was born in Rockdale on July 16, 1961, to Edna and Carnell Mitchell. She was beloved by many and a stranger to none.

Valenzuela

Alicia Valenzuela, 65, of Rockdale died Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at her home in Rockdale. No services are planned. Ms. Valenzuela was born April 21, 1956, in Butler, Penn sylvania, to Rolland Edward and Mary Helen (Hilderbrand) Turner. She was a homemaker.

Zuehlke

Leslie Ann Zuehlke of Thorndale passed away peacefully and went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2022, at St. David’s Medical Center in Austin after vigorously battling her cancer with positivity, grace, and dignity for the past 9 years. She was 58 years and 10 months old.

Beard

Linda Sue Cooper Beard passed away peacefully in her home on Saturday, Jan. 1, 2022, after a short battle with metastatic lung cancer. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Joe and Arvilla Cooper; a brother, Joe Cooper; and a sister, Shirley Davenport.
