Thorndale comeback falls short in playoffs

The Thorndale Bulldog’s came close to pulling off a comeback for the ages against the Leon Cougars in the 2A Bi-District Playoff round. Unfortunately, they fell just short as they lost in a 40-34 heartbreaker. “Leon pretty much had a perfect game in the first half,” THS Head Coach John Kovar said.

Rockdale spikers make All-District

Several members of the Lady Tiger Volleyball team were named to the 3A Region III District 19 All-District teams. Haven Jimenez was named to the all-district first team on Monday. “Haven Jimenez was our go-to outside hitter this season,” RHS Head Coach Kelsey Hudson said.

Lady Tigers lose on visit to Savio

The Lady Tigers Basketball team kicked off their season on Tuesday as they traveled to face the Savio Lady Eagles. Unfortunately, the Lady Tigers were defeated 52-36. Saige Robertson led the Lady Tigers in scoring with 12 points.
