Jose Luis Nieto, 60, of Rockdale died Sunday June 7, 2020, at his home in Rockdale. Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, June 12, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Rockdale. Visitation is set for 6 to 8 p.m.

TAYLOR— Charles John Urbanek Jr., 83, of Taylor passed away on Monday, June 1, 2020. Charles was born Feb. 23, 1937, in Taylor. He graduated from St. Mary’s Catholic High School in 1954. He married Barbara Stojanik of Granger in 1959 and from this union were born four children.

Helen Garner Abel, age 90, of Sharp went home to be with her Lord early Tuesday morning, May 26, 2020, in The Meridian of Temple Health Center. A private graveside service will be held at the IOOF Cemetery in Rockdale, Texas, with Pastor Gary Veit officiating.

MILANO—Michael (Mike) Fontaine Jones, 44, of Gatesville, formerly of Milano, went home to be with Jesus on May 3, 2020, after battling a long illness. Memorial services will be held at Liberty Community Church near Milano at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 27. Mr. Jones was born Sept. 13, 1975.
