Our beloved wife, sister, mother of five, grandmother of 11, and friend, Beverly A. Carney, passed away at home on Saturday, May 2, 2020, at the age of 70. Beverly was born June 26, 1949, in Pittsburgh, Penns y l v a n i a , t o Bruce (Bill) and Nadine Parrish.

David Allen Davis of Ingleside died Friday, May 1, 2020, surrounded by loved ones. His body will be cremated and services will be held at a later date. Mr. Davis was born in Aransas Pass to Johnnie and Marylou (Dragoo) Davis. He graduated in Berlin, Germany, while enlisted in the U.S. Army.

Virginia Ann Lynn Eason McEathron was born on Jan. 23, 1936, in Houston. The fi r s t d a u g h t e r of Pansy and Clifford Lynn, who met each other in a oneroom schoolhouse in Tanglewood. Pansy and Clifford were both identical twins, which made for some interesting family reunions.

Wells

Roy Kenneth Wells Sr. was born April 30, 1945, in Conroe and passed away April 21, 2020, in Bryan, at the age of 74. Roy proudly served our country in the U.S. Army from 1963-1966, where he was ranked as a SP4 (E-4), and was an artillery specialist. He loved the outdoors and his cattle.

Johnny Hernandez, 66, of Rockdale died Sunday, April 19, 2020, near Rockdale. Visitation was to be held from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale. Private family services will be held at a later date. Mr. Hernandez was born Oct.

Janette Owens, 79, of Rockdale died Wednesday, April 15, 2020, at her home. Private family graveside services were held at Forest Grove Cemetery in the Forest Grove community. Mrs. Owens was born Sept. 29, 1940, in Falfurrias to Dennis and Melva Ruth (Daniel) Lane.

Elizabeth Ann “Liz” Bartlett, 71, of Rockdale died Thursday, April 9, 2020, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple following an auto accident. No services are planned at this time. Mrs. Bartlett was born Nov. 19, 1948, in San Antonio to Harlan Wayne and Martha Halene (Jones) Ontjes.

Barton-Lawhon

Kymber Leann Barton-Lawhon, 37, died on Wednesday, April 8, 2020, in Rockdale. She was born on Feb. 5, 1983, to Johnny Dale and Cherie Evone (Basey) Barton in Austin. Mrs. Barton-Lawhon worked as a CNA. On April 16, 2019, she married Joseph R. Lawhon.
