HOUSTON—Mr. Eugene Walton Jr. was born on Dec. 19, 1929, in Rockdale, Texas, to Eugene Walton Sr. and Eddie Mae (Cartwright) Walton. He attended Aycock School System and graduated in 1947 as valedictorian of his class. He joined the United States Air Force on July 11, 1951.
