This past week, Milano High School’s Class of 2018 graduate Kyle King was named the American Southwest Conference’s Co-Offensive Player of the Week along with University of Mary Hardin-Baylor teammate and Troy native Anthony Avila.
Although Rockdale cross country teams didn’t have a scheduled meet this week, that didn’t keep them from competing.
Milano High School’s football team powered their way to their first win of the season Friday night when they defeated Huntsville’s Alpha Omega Academy 13-3.
Even though Rockdale took down Taylor on their own home court Friday night in three straight sets, the game was much closer than it seemed as the Lady Tigers won 25-20, 25-18, 25-23.
