Bulldogs fall in double OT drama

In a head-to-head battle between two top-ranked teams, the Thorn-dale Bulldogs got their first district loss in a double overtime heartbreaker to Hearne 84-83. The game was even throughout, with both teams staying within one point of each other.

MILANO NEWS If you like to support area 4-H and FFA students, there is a new way you can do so. The newly formed Milano/Gause Ag Booster Club is accepting new members. An active booster family has a fee of $50 per child and $25 for each additional child.

The Rockdale Lady Tiger basketball team’s season came to an end with hard-fought 44-32 loss to the Franklin Lady Lions. “I think we did pretty good,” said Meredith Caffey, finishing up her first season as the head coach for the Rockdale High School girl’s basketball team.

Senior Kelan Evans

Senior Kelan Evans scored 21 points against the Troy Trojans on Tuesday, Jan. 29. Evans is the leading scorer for RHS and has averaged 12.7 points in 24 games played in the 2018-2019 season.
