Defense key to Lady Tiger success

A focus on defense will give the Rockdale High School Lady Tigers volleyball team an upper hand in District 19-3A play this fall. The team will start two-a-days Wednesday morning at 8-10 a.m. and noon-3 p.m. at RHS gym in preparation for the upcoming season.

RHS golfers hit the links for charity, raise $2,500

Five decades of Rockdale High School golf team members were represented in the four-person golf scramble this past weekend. Links-men and women from the 1970s, ‘80s, ‘90s, 2000s and 2010s, coaches and fans gathered at the Rockdale Country Club Golf Course to support the community.

4-Hers wins firsts in shooting sports

Milam Count 4-H shooting sports contestants brought back numerous first-place wins, and more, from recent state competitions. Rifle and pistol competitions were held in Manor. San Antonio hosted the archery games.
