RHS hosts alumni game Friday

Tiger soccer got their season started Friday in Florence where they fell 1-0 in their season opening scrimmage. Head coach Gilberto Rodriguez said the loss was a result of Florence improving and the Blueand-Gold having a lot of new faces.

ACE Tigers play role in RJH success

ACE (Afterschool Centers on Education) Tigers play a key role in the success of RJH. Oftentimes after school programs are created primarily for clubs. At this time ACE Tigers has dedicated daily academic tutorials followed by student interest groups.

Tigers win three straight last week

Rockdale Tiger basketball improved their record to 4-2 this weekend while at the Jewett-Leon tourney, where they finished third overall with wins over Normangee, Latexo and Broaddus.

District 25-2A volleyball coaches released their picks last week with Thorndale junior Abby Dickerson being named Setter of the Year, while her classmate Landri Martinka was voted as the Defensive Most Valuable Player.

RHS hoops looks to improve

Lady Tiger basketball team played two days in a row last week. First, they hit the road last Monday to face Class 4A Jarrell, who won 60-38. The Blue-and-Gold got back on the yellow dog the next day to take on Class 2A Moody, who beat RHS 33-26.
