Tigers regain groove in Jarrell

After losing two of their toughest games of the season, the Tigers bounced back with a 61-9 win at J arrell Friday thanks to four Cam’Ron Valdez touchdowns and 28 unanswered points in the second quarter. “We needed to get off to a fast start,” said RHS football coach J eff Miller.

For the first time this season, the Milano Eagles got to experience the glory of a victory when they took down Rosebud-Lott 6-0 at Pruitt Stadium on Friday. MHS went up against a Rosebud team that was also winless going into the game.

Last Wednesday, the Tigers held their basketball practice of the season in the old RHS Gymnasium. Rockdale is a new look team this year in almost every sense. They have new head coach Marcus McNeil, who comes from Weimar after a 2019 regional appearance with the Wildcats.

MHS falls to Eurton in 19th straight playoff appearance

Milano’s season came to an end against Burton in three straight sets 25-18, 25-17, 25-16 on Tuesday night in Somerville. They went up against a Lady Panther team that went 13-1 in District 26-2A and made it to the fourth of the playoffs in 2018.

Rockdale’s J V1 got their their fourth win of the season with a 14-6 victory over arrell on Thursday at Tiger Stadium. The opening quarter was scoreless but the RHS defense was active in the second and went up 2-0 after scoring on a safety.
