Way to go Thorndale Lady Dogs! The following Thorndale volleyball players were recognized at Academic All-State student athletes: Hestin Ellington, Hadley Meadors and Allison Owen. Rhynn Bigan was named Academic All-State support.

ROCKDALE BASKETBALL

MUMFORD— The Rockdale Lady Tigers’ basketball team went up against Mumford last week and lost 33-25. Players of the game were Trinity Hurd, six points, three rebounds, four steals; Tanisha McBr ide, six points, two rebounds, one steal and one block; Jernee Mitchell, six points.

THORNDALE— The Blue & Gold paid a visit to the gym in Thorndale last week and came home with a loss of 70-54.

HOME LOSS—Milano Eagles lost their first home game of the season to visiting Mumford. The final score was Mumford 67, Milano 34.

THORNDALE BASKETBALL

Early in the week the Thorndale Lady Dog's suffered a loss against Troy on the road. Troy won 46-25. Thorndale then went 2-2 in the Moody Tournament. They played Live Oak Classical out of Waco and lost 42-26.
