ROCKDALE HIGH SCHOOL TRACK

The Rockdale Tiger and Lady Tiger track teams competed in the Elgin Track Meet last week. On the boys varsity team, Tiger De’Andre Stephens placed second in the high jump with a 6’ jump and he placed third in the triple jump. Wyatt Smith came in sixth in pole vaulting with a 10’ vault.

The Milano track teams ran in the Rosebud-Lott Track Meet on Wednesday, March 6.

THORNDALE HIGH SCHOOL TRACK

The Thorndale Bulldog Track Teams traveled to Holland last week to compete in the Holland Rosa Relays. Lady Dog Raven Sandoval placed first in the 1600M with a time of 6:10.24, and Skielee Bear came in second with a time of 6:10.84. Raven Sandoval was first in the 3200M with a time of 13:45.

DOUBLES— Rockdale JV boys tennis doubles team (top photo) of Sebestian Lepe and Cohen Razo placed first last week in the Caldwell Tournament. Bottom photo, the JV mixed doubles team, consisting of Shawn Gerren and Aubrey Zientek, took home third place in the Caldwell Tourney.

FAST START— The Thorndale Bulldog baseball team is off to a hot start. They began district play last week against Bartlett, winning 4-1.

Softball fundraiser set for March 23rd Rockdale Girls’ Softball Association will hold a fundraiser on Saturday, March 23, at The Ranch from 7 p.m. to midnight. There will b e a $ 10 donation at the door.

MILANO BASEBALL/SOFTBALL

The Milano Eagle baseball team recently competed in the Somerville Tournament and had two solid victories. The Eagles beat Snook 16-1 and they won against Somerville 9-1. The Milano Lady Eagle softball team played two games last week and came away with two wins.
