Lady Tigers go 6-2 at the Jewett-Leon Tournament

Over the weekend, the Lady Tiger volleyball team improved their record to 12-3 after winning six games at the Jewett-Leon Tournament. On Thursday, the Blue-and-Gold went undefeated with wins over Buffalo, Groesbeck and Tom Bean. RHS also only lost one set the entire day.

Baker chooses college

On Monday, Aug. 1, Thorndale High School senior Bailee Baker verbally committed to Oklahoma Wesleyan University in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Baker was a part of a Lady Dog team that finished second in district play and went three rounds deep in the playoffs.

Tigers wait for rain to pass in final scrimmage

It was about 4:30 p.m. when Tiger football players arrived at Robinson High School for their final scrimmage of the 2022 pre-season. But with rainfall throughout the state of Texas for much of the week, including Thursday when the two teams met up, the Tigers were forced to wait.

THS football heads to Thrall for scrimmage Thorndale Bulldog football kicked off their 2022 season on Friday, staying home to scrimmage with Jewett-Leon. They hop on the bus for the first time this season when they head to Chilton on Thursday.
