ROCKDALE—With less than a minute left to play and the score tied at 19 in their Pool Play opener, Rockdale’s Jose Castillo was able to undercut the route of a Madisonville receiver to get an interception, which ultimately led to the Tiger seven-on-seven squad winning the game, 26-19.

Blue-and-Gold barely miss State Lineman Challenge

LAKE BELTON—On Saturday, 12 Tiger football players competed in the Lake Belton Lineman Challenge, where RHS placed fifth overall, just missing out on the Texas State Lineman Challenge in Abilene later this month.

RGSL ‘Closing Ceremony’ takes place Friday

On Friday evening, the Rockdale Girls Softball League will hold it’s annual Closing Ceremony at the town’s Softball Complex located at 622 County Road 305, just outside or Rockdale. The event will begin at 7 p.m. and honor players and teams from all five age divisions.
