Youth volleyball sign-ups for fall Rockdale High School head volleyball coach Melanie Seltzer announced that the school will host a volleyball league for girls in grades first through sixth. Boys in grades first through fourth will also be able to play this upcoming season.

A lot of shuffling around happened to form 13-2A-I, Thorndale’s new home. The district brings together Hearne, Holland and the Bulldogs, who were three of the four playoff teams last season from 12-2A-I.

Huff earns bronze at Summer Games

This past weekend, incoming Rockdale Junior High sixth-grader Jordyn Huff competed at the 2022 Summer Games of Texas at Corpus Christi’s Cabaniss Stadium, where she took home a bronze medal in the long jump. The Lady Tiger leaped a distance of 14-07.
