On Monday, Rockdale Junior High will hold “Tiger Day,” which will honor RJH athletes in front of their families. The ceremony begins at 4:30 p.m. in the RJH Gymnasium and there will be a cookout following the ceremony on the side of the school by the RJH tennis courts.

Thorndale’s Branson McCoy finished seventh in the Class 2A 100-meter dash. This was the Bulldog senior’s second straight trip to state. Tiger freshman Timothy Grice earned silver in the Class 3A 200-meter dash with a time of 21.26, breaking his own personal record.
