RHS track triumphs at district

Rockdale track and field teams saw a lot of success at the District 19-3A meet in Cameron this past week, where the Tigers finished second overall with 12 area qualifiers and the Lady Tigers placed sixth overall with three athletes moving on to the area meet.

Tigers throttle Florence, 19-0

Overcoming a five-game losing streak with a bang, Rockdale baseball took down Florence, 19-0 on Friday night at Tiger Field. The Blue-and-Gold got up early, leading 3-0 at the end of the second, but put up 11 runs in the third to go up 14-0.

THS beats Milano, 7-3

For the second time this season, Milano and Thorndale softball teams went head-to head with THS prevailing once again. The Lady Dogs were able to rally mid-game and win 7-3 over the Lady Eagles. Milano head softball coach Amanda Keen talked with The Reporter following Saturday afternoon’s contest.

REGION III TENNIS TOURNAMENT
