Over the weekend, Rockdale High School’s Golden Girls competed in San Antonio at Danceline USA’s National Dance/Drill Team Championships. While in Bexar County, the team earned Danceline National Sweepstakes, which means the judges gave them scores of 95 or above on all of their performances.

Lady Dog softball got their sixth consecutive win on Friday night, taking down Granger 12-0. THS freshman Karis Ginn allowed just two hits against the Lady Lions and struck out four to add to her total of 65 strikeouts on the season. Natalie Garcia and Emilee Baker led at the plate going 3-for-4.

RJH ACE Tigers after-school program has a lot to offer

Rockdale Junior High’s ACE program has lots to offer both students and their families. Tutorial sessions are available in both the mornings and the afternoons for students to get extra help or catch up on missing work. Every morning from 7:15 to 8 a.m. we have Rise and Shine Cafe.
