On Saturday afternoon, a team made up of Tucker Tovar, Steve Spencer, John Eiman, Waylon Allen, Madison Reynolds and Ronnie Leggett won the RHS Alumni and Friends Golf Tournament at the Rockdale Country Club.

Mitchell signs pro contract

On Friday afternoon, Rockdale’s Wendell “Chuck” Mitchell Jr. announced that he had signed a contract with Prishtina B.C. of Kosovo.

Todd named to All-Brazos team

Jayce Todd earned All-Brazos team honors earlier this month with the Bryan Eagle newspaper selecting him for their third team. The MHS sophomore finished the 2020-21 season as the District 27-2A Offensive MVP and averaged 17.2 points per game. He also had 6.

In their inaugural season, area swimming club Wake Aquatics has 18 members heading to the Summer Games of Texas in Corpus Christi this weekend to compete for state championships in 34 events.
