The second annual agility camp hosted by former RHS standout Le’Raven Clark drew 145 participants. Le’Raven concentrated on footwork skills for players in all sports from age seven to seniors in high school at RJH. “It’s about giving back but mostly creating a sense of community,” said Le’Raven.

Three summer softball league teams make impressive showing at state

Last week at the Texas Teenage Softball State Tournament, the Rockdale Boom would make it five games into the state tournament before being eliminated, while the Milano Wolf Pack and Lexington Eagles played four and two games, respectively.

Tennis camp signup underway

Tennis players ages 7 to 16 can signup for youth tennis camp scheduled for July 23-26 at the Rockdale Tennis Courts. Camp fees are $10 a day per student. Reyna Gonzalez, the 2018 RHS mixed doubles state champion, and Ben Blanchard, a Howard Payne University player, will host the four-day camp.
