Tigers can’t hold on to early lead in loss to Yoe

CAMERON—Despite double-digit hits and another early lead, the Rockdale Tigers still were not able to secure that first district victory. A five-run sixth inning from Cameron kept the Tigers from posting their first District 20-3A victory on the year in a 12-9 loss to the Yoemen Tuesday night.

No. 1 Dawgs continue to roll thru district foes

Despite allowing seven runs in the fifthinning, Thorndale Bulldogs Varsity defeated Bartlett 10-7 on Tuesday to remain perfect in District 27-2A. The No. 1 ranked Bulldogs improved to 22-3-1 and 10-0 in league play. “We gave away too many opportunities tonight,” said Thorndale Coach Kelly Kuhl.
