Softball camp set for June 4-6

MILANO NEWS Lady Eagle softball camp is set for June 4-6 at the Lady Eagle softball field. Girls entering PreK through 12th grades are invited to attend. State champion coaches from Giddings High School will be teaching in the camp. Girls through fifth grade will have camp from 9 to 11 a.m.

Tigers have six road games on new schedule

After much consternation, construction has begun on the new Tiger football complex and it is expected to be completed by the first of September—they hope. The defending Class 3A state champions season opener is Aug. 31 against old friend Giddings.
