Thomas Vega, 84, died Monday, Jan. 27, 2020, at his home in Rockdale. Funeral Mass was held Thursday, Jan. 30, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rockdale with Rev. Pedro Castillo officiating. Burial followed at F.A. Hernandez Cemetery in Cameron.

George Franklin Riddle Jr., 87, of Mexia, Texas, went to the eternal home his Lord Jesus has been preparing for him on Jan. 22, 2020, after a long, active and blessed life and then a difficult battle with Parkinson’s. A wonderful husband and father who put his family first, George was born Nov.

Julian K. Rogers, 96, of Temple died Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020, at the Central Texas V.A. Hospital in Temple. A funeral service was held Tuesday, Jan. 28, at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale, with Minister Eugene Van Noord officiating. Burial with military honors was at Sandy Creek Cemetery.
