Tigers outplay Robinson, 3-2

The varsity Tigers started out fast in their scrimmage against the Robinson Rockets here at Tiger Stadium last Thursday night. Our Tigers were victorious with a final score of 3-2. Senior veteran starting quarterback Blaydn Barcak did what we all know he can do.

LADY TIGERS VOLLEYBALL

A really good Lady Tiger volleyball team faced a tough challenge last week when the Granger Lions came to town. Former Tiger and Head Volleyball Coach Morgan Laughlin’s team played with a lot of determination but came up short losing three out of the five sets—28-30, 25-21, 25-21, 23-25 and 12-15.

Bulldogs fall short against Chilton

THOR NDA LE—The Thorndale Bulldogs hosted a scrimmage last week against the Chilton Pirates and came up short with a final score of 3-1. Head Coach John Kovar acknowledged, “We struggled, we have some key injuries and we have fundamental areas where we need to improve.

Rockdale cross country teams performed well Friday at the meet held at Apache Pass. The varsity boys team of Jesus Bocanegra, Jose Tenorio, Alex Cooper and Shawn Gerren placed second.

Eagles drop a close scrimmage against Thrall

Set to host Waco Reicher in Friday’s season opener MILANO—The Milano Eagles hosted a well coached Thrall Tigers team last week. This matchup included a controlled- scrimmage as well as a live half. The Tigers prevailed 2-1.

THORNDALE-The Thorndale Bull dogs hosted the Leon Cougars in a scrimmage on Friday night. The Bulldogs were victorious with a final of 3-1. Bulldogs Caden Kovar and Gunner Ferguson shared time at the quarterback position and played to their individual strengths.

The Lady Tigers posted two wins last week. Congratulations to Coach Laughlin and her varsity squad. They won against the Bartlett Bulldogs with a score of 3-0 and the Milano Eagles 3-2.
