Rockdale soccer begin tourney play RHS soccer teams begin tournament play with the Tigers heading to Madisonville (Jan. 6-7) while the Lady Tigers head to Navasota (Jan. 5-7).

Rockdale’s Erik Sheppard has been a vocal leader for the Tigers this season. With an 0-1 record in district play, the Blue-and-Gold face Thorndale on Friday morning before continuing district play on Tuesday, Jan. 3, in McGregor. RHS is led by first-year head coach Sean Lexima, who comes over from Class 6A New Caney, where he was a top assistant for several years.
