Rockdale’s junior varsity football squad got their first win this past Thursday with a 38-6 win over Lexington. The Eagles took an early 6-0 lead toward the end of the first with a three-yard touchdown run and a failed conversion.

RHS lost a fumble on their first series eut jot the ball back after stopping Caldwell from scoring. On their next drive, Rockdale was forced to punt.

RHS junior varsity shut out by Giddings in season opener

SPORTS BRIEFS In their season debut, the Tiger junior varsity football team lost 16-0 at Giddings High School last Thursday. The JV Buffs took the lead early in the game when they scored on an eight-yard touchdown run. Giddings made a two-point conversion was successful following the score.
