Lady Tigers playoff hopes still alive

Tuesday night, the Lady Tigers defeated Rogers 3-0 in order to keep their season alive. Rockdale will face the Lady Eagles again at 6 p.m., Thursday at C.H. Yoe High School gym, Cameron, for the fourth place spot in District 13-3A.

Thorndale topples Milano 35-14

Thorndale marked its fifteenth win against Milano in their twenty-first match-up during their homecoming at Bulldog Stadium. The Bulldogs improved to 3-1 in District 13-2A DI and 5-1 overall, while Milano dropped to 1-2 and 2-4, after Friday’s 35-14 victory.

Two victories helped in the RHS Lady Tigers, fight to stay in the District 19-3A playoff race. RHS is tied with Rogers for fourth place with its 6-6 record. On Friday, the Lady Tigers traveled to McGregor and swept the Lady Bulldogs 25-20, 25-15, 25-14 for the second time.
