A new day: RHS preps for La Grange

TIGER BASKETBALL The 2018-19 Rockdale Tigers basketball team will get their first contest of the season against a class 4A school, 5 p.m., Monday at La Grange. First year head coach Sean Coleman said his team is ready for the challenge.

MHS softball players sign letters of intent

On Friday afternoon at the Milano High School library, MHS seniors Jenna Lewis and Laynie Bastow signed their letters of intent to play college softball. Lewis will continue her career at Kilgore College (Kilgore). Her teammate Laynie Bastow will play at Vernon College (Vernon).

RJH teams get muddy

The RJH Tigers wrapped up their season in muddy fashion in Academy, according to Coach Eric Willard. Willard said the eighth grade A game “was all about the offense in the first half and defense the second half” in its 12-6 loss to the Bumblebees.
