The Rockdale Junior High eighth grade A team fought to beat the Jarrell Cougars 32-20 after being down 13-0 in the first quarter. The Tigers chipped away at the Cougar lead when Robert Owens scored on a 15-yard touchdown run before the end of the quarter.
