AUSTIN—At the UIL Class 2A state track meet, Thorndale junior Carson McCoy blazed his way to a third-place finish in the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.79. Teammate and fellow junior, Jack Herzog soared to a height of 14’-6” in the pole vault.
