Fishing conditions in Central Texas

Lady Dogs fall short to Schulenburg

BRENHAM—On Saturday, the Lady Dog volleyball team was in a scenario that they had been in before: Facing Schulenburg in the post-season. Last year, THS battled with the Lady Horns in the regional quarterfinals that SHS won in a tie-breaker set.

Bocanegra finishes 31st at state meet

ROUND ROCK—Over the weekend, Rockdale High School’s Jesus Bocanegra raced at the UIL cross country state championships, where he finished 31st out of 149 runners with a time of 17:10 in Class 3A boys’ championship race.
