Rockdale senior powerlifters Jesenia Navarro and Mackenzie Musto have qualified for the Region III meet in Dublin on March 5. Navarro won the 114-pound division squatting 255 pounds, bench pressing 110 and hitting a dead lift of 270 for a total of 635 pounds.

On Friday night, the Milano Eagle basketball team picked up their second straight win, taking down Granger 66-35 at the Lion Gymnasium. Jayce Todd led MHS with 21 points and Bryson Richards scored 14. Three days earlier, the Eagles picked up their first district win, beating Thrall 67-60 at home.
