MHS girls end season at Thrall, 39-29

Milano came up short at Thrall Friday night, as the Lady Eagles lost their season finale to the Tigerettes 39-29. The Lady Eagles played THS close, but were unable to make up for a Thrall run early in the game. Natalie Compton had eight and Aaliyah McBrewer finished the game with six.

On Feb. 3, Marble Falls senior Bailey Goggans signed her official letter of intent to continue her track and field career at Texas A&M. Goggans is the granddaughter of Rockdale High School alum Judy Dyer Sivadon and niece of longtime RHS faculty Wenda Dyer and Sharon Shoemake.

Last Thursday after the school bells rang, Thorndale High School hosted their first ever powerlifting meet when athletes from Rockdale, Thorndale and Thrall competed in the THS Tri-Meet. “Powerlifting is pretty new for us,” said THS athletic director John Kovar.
