RHS JV puts up 40 in Hyde Park shutout, RJH ties 32-32 in Bellville

Rockdale’s junior varsity got their second straight win with a 40-0 shutout over Hyde Park Baptist in West Austin on Thursday night. Angel Lopez got the Tigers on the scoreboard in the first quarter with an 18-yard touchdown run.

Tiger boys XC finish fifth in McGregor Rockdale’s boys cross country team placed fifth in McGregor with junior Albert Silva and sophomore Seth Davis both runnning the race in 19:08.4. Silva was 22nd beating Davis, who was 23rd out of 120 runners. Other Tigers running were: 32.

In an explosive, highly-energized first half, Cam’Ron Valdez and Kesean Raven accumulated more than 300 yards worth of touchdowns during the Tigers 45-13 win in Lexington on Friday. “We started fast on offense,” said Jeff Miller, Rockdale High School football coach and athletic director.
