Milano ends season with loss to Bremond

The Milano Eagles ended their 2019 season with a 20-10 loss on the road to Bremond, splitting their series with the Tigers after beating them 7-5 this past Friday.

The Rockdale Lady Tigers finished off their regular season with a 12-3 win over Franklin on Monday evening at the Lady Tiger Softball Field. The Lady Tigers got an early lead when Mariana Casarez and Haven Jimenez scored on an error in the bottom of the first inning.

Tigers slash Lions 9-3 on senior night

The Rockdale Tiger baseball team got the win on senior night Tuesday against the 9-3 Franklin Lions. “I’m really proud of all these seniors. It was senior night and it’s the last time they’ll ever put on the spikes at this field,” said John Hooser, RHS baseball coach.

Zinn signs with Centenary

Ryker Zinn (middle) signed a letter intent to pitch for Centenary College of Louisiana in Shreveport last Thursday. His parents Troy and Deana Zinn attended his signing at RHS. He is the second Tiger to sign with the school. “I’m super excited,” Zinn said.
